Who We Are

In response to the growing number of oil and chemical spills in Eastern North Carolina, Southeast Response and Remediation was founded in 1991.

The company’s original mission was to provide a safe and cost-effective way to handle these spills and the associated contamination. This focus quickly grew to encompass a broader spectrum of environmental services as well as a thriving Industrial Services division.

Though SR&R has grown and diversified, we’ve kept true to our belief that “Bigger isn’t better. Better is better.” We still provide the same emergency response services that earned us our reputation. And we still maintain an industry-leading safety record and a first-class training program for our employees. However, after over two decades we’ve come to be known for so much more than emergency response.

In 2011 to honor our 20th anniversary, we’ve changed our name to “SR&R Environmental” to better reflect the increased scope of our services.
