Aggressive Fluid Vapor Recovery, or AFVR, is a long-term remediation method wherein petroleum is removed from wells drilled into the ground at sites with existing contamination. SR&R has provided this service to hundreds of sites across North and South Carolina and recovered millions of gallons of petroleum contact water (PCW) in the process.
Our fleet of DOT HAZMAT rated Vacuum Trucks and Vacuum Tankers give us enough capacity to handle multiple sites at once, or service very large volume projects. And since we have the only Centralized Wastewater Treatment facility in Eastern North Carolina, we have the in-house ability to safely treat and dispose of the recovered PCW. Our system separates the petroleum for recycling and then treats the PCW for discharge to a municipal POTW.
